On August 8th, 2020, the Russo Brothers' production company, AGBO Films, put on their first drive-in charity event at City Market South in Downtown Los Angeles to benefit Communities in Schools Los Angeles (CISLA). We were honored to have our short film, Star Wars: The Toys Awaken, selected as one of two short films to screen during the pre-show before the feature film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. We are happy to announce that Star Wars Toy Stories has an autograph table at San Diego Comic-Con International 2019. This is our third year in a row. Special thanks to Machelle Noel of GeekRockTV for producing our show at CCI.
We return to San Diego Comic-Con having recently won two Star Wars Fan Awards from Lucasfilm Ltd. (Best Stop Motion and Spirit of Fandom) for our short film Star Wars: The Toys Awaken. We're also promoting our next fan film, Home Solo: A Star Wars Toy Story, which is currently in production.

Since Lucasfilm did not plan any fan film screenings or panels for Star Wars Celebration 2019, we took it upon ourselves to set up a fan film screening event featuring winners of the Star Wars Fan Film Awards from 2015 - 2018. The screenings took place on April 14th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Lake Room at University Center, which is about 10 minutes from McCormick Center where Star Wars Celebration took place.
PROGRAM
The Rogue One: A Star Wars Toy Story screened at Stan Lee's L.A. Comic Con on October 28th at 12:30 pm in Room 411 as part of GeekFest Film Fests' end-of-year tour. Audience-voted awards were presented on the main Stage on October 29th at 3:45 pm.
Our film was one of three finalists for GeekFest Film Fest's Year 4 tour of seven comic conventions, culminating with Stan Lee's L.A. Comic Con. We ended up winning the Silver Medal for Best Fan Film based on audience voting! We were presented our award by hip hop legend Darryl DMC McDaniels and prolific actor Cas Anvar (The Expanse, The Strain). Awards Ceremony video coming soon!
We had the good fortune of being invited to have an autograph table at San Diego Comic-Con International 2017.
